60-day money back guarantee |
Yowza is one of two manufacturers (the other being Smooth) to give you the longest money back guarantee of 60 days. This is twice of what's being offered by many manufacturers and gives you the freedom to return your purchase within 2 months should you feel this product or model is not the right one for you. |
|
Quick speed and incline buttons, fans and built-in speakers |
Take your stride to speeds up to 12 mph with a single touch of a button. It also has a separate quick key function for incline. The console also features a built-in fan to keep you cool when you need to freshen up, and it also has a built-in sound system letting you plug in your MP3 players so you can listen to your favorite music. These are all designed for your convenience and listening pleasures. |
|
5 year parts warranty |
The Smyrna's 5-year parts warranty is above average for treadmills in the $1000 - $1500 price range. Most treadmills in this price bracket only come with 2 to 4 years coverage on parts. |
|
Triple laminated, reversible deck |
These triple-laminated decks are among Yowza's selling points It gives you twice the deck's life by just flipping it and make the underside its top surface. With the triple lamination, be guarateed that it's stronger than the common decks. |

Roller size not stated |
Even though it says in the website description that the Smyrna has crowned rollers, no size or dimension was provided for us to assess this component. It's very common for manufacturers to keep mum on some features they're not very proud of. Not to say that these rollers have questionable quality, but it's a probability unless Yowza gives us enough details to assess this component. |
|
More room for improvement |
We would have wanted to see more features integrated in the Smyrna. Some of these are online tracking of the users workout progress (just like iFit Live or Nike + iPod), decline features, and adjustable cushioning. |
