60-day money back guarantee |
We're used to seeing just 30 days for this money back guarantee so 60 days is something really good for you. Only Yowza and Smooth offer this 2-month return guarantee, giving you longer time to see if it's the right treadmill or model that will suit your needs. |

Wireless chest strap |
Not many treadmills especially those priced at $1500 and below provide a free wireless chest strap to monitor your heart rate. Even though this add-on would cost you just around $50, it's a good thing you don't have to buy it separately. Wireless chest straps are said to be more accurate than contact grips because the latter is exposed to dirt, oily hands, and sweat that may sometimes lead to wrong or no reading at all. |
|
5-year parts warranty |
While treadmills in the $1000 to $1500 price range usually provide between 2 to 4 years in parts warranty, Juno gives you a longer coverage at 5 years that counts among its strengths. This is on top of a lifetime coverage on frame and motor plus 2 years labor warranty. |
|
Supports MP3 players |
This feature lets you plug-in your MP3 players to the Juno's built-in sound system so you can listen to your favorite music and keep you entertained while you're doing your workouts. |
|
Triple laminated, reversible deck |
Among the features Yowza Juno is putting emphasis on is its triple laminated deck. Very few manufacturers mention about runnning decks which is the main component that carries your weight when you run on treadmills. It's the inner body of the belt so it really should be strong enough to hold up to your constant pounding. The deck should also be smooth and well lubricated to lessen its wear given the constant contact with the treadbelt. With triple lamination, it makes the deck stronger. Take note also that it has a reversible feature, meaning you can flip the deck to make the bottom side the top layer. This is good because you don't need to buy a new deck once the top side wears out. |

10MPH max |
If you're into serious running, you may not be happy with the Juno's 10MPH max speed since many other treadmills go up to 12MPH. |
|
No fans |
Many treadmills now include a built-in fan but it's something you won't find in the Juno. Although not everyone prefers cooling fans while working out, we can assume that this is one way for the manufacturer to cut cost in order to offer other features. |
|
Roller size not stated |
All we know is that the Juno has crowned rollers but we cannot say it's smaller than what it should be. It would be best, and would give us peace of mind knowing if these components comply with the standards since we're talking about durabilty here. Bigger rollers are definitely better. |
