Among the features the ET-288 is promoting is its folding feature. This allows you to save some space when yo're not using your treadmill. It also drops down smoothly from its folded position and prevents damage to your equipment.

Quick buttons built on handle bars

The ET-288's speed and incline controls are located on the handrails so it's easily within your reach and you don't have to be distracted everytime you wixh to change settings. The controls allow you to instantly change from 1MPH to 10MPH and  instanly give you a 10% with a single touch of a button.

Pulse grip sensors and cushioning

Other features that you can find in the ET-288 are the contact grip sensors to monitor your heart rate, and thecushioned deck to soften the impact on your joints when you're walking on the treadmill surface.

Below average belt and motor combination for the price

Although a 2HP motor is sufficient to power an 18" x 50" belt, we've seen other treadmill in the sub $1000 price range offer better motors and more spacious belts.

10 MPH max speed and 10% max incline

Given the 2HP motor rating, the ET-288 only has a maximum speed of 10MPH. This may be because this model is designed only for walking and not for serious running.

6 programs only

Other treadmills in the same price range offer between 10 to 24 programs that's why the ET-288's 6 programs fair miserably because you only have limited programs to choose from.

Light treadmill

We cannot guarantee if the ET-288 will be stable enough since it weighs only 181 pounds. It's important for a treadmill to be heavy since it will carry the user's full weight when in use. This may also be the reason why this machine can only accommodate users up to 275 pounds only.
