One factor that's keeping users from having longer workouts is boredom. With this model's built-in sound system that also supports your MP3 players, you can listen to your favorite songs to keep you entertained. You'll appreciate this feature especially if you're a music lover who loves to move along the beat.

You get a more comfortable workout with the E255's oversized and self-leveling foot pedals. This ergonomic design would allow you to position your feet in a more comfortable way preventing ankle sprains if you're in for longer workouts.

The EL255 also comes with 2 user profiles so you can personalize your workouts. You can do this by saving the settings of your favorite workouts so you won't have to adjust it everytime you'll use this machine. We've noticed that about half of all ellipticals available in the market doesn't have user profiles or don't allow you to save your favorite settings. We're just glad the EL255 in on the other half that provides this useful feature.

Still has room for improvement

We're expecting the EL255 come short in the bells and whistles category since it's priced below $1000. But still, features like cooling fans, enhanced handlebar grips, and a reverse stride features wouldn't cost manufacturers too much to provide users with these add-ons.

Light elliptical weighing only 154lbs.

In elliptical standards, 154lbs.is light for the $700-$1000 price range since many of the EL-255's counterparts weigh at least 163lbs. Just like treadmills, heavier ellipticals are more preferred since it'll be carrying your full weight during workouts. Another thing you'd want to consider is that the 300-lb user weight limit may be too much for a 154-lb machine. A 250-lb limit may be more acceptable for the EL255 for safety reasons.
