Using the 7" touch screen, simply plot your route and experience how it's like running in Central Park in New York, or stroll down the beaches of Hawaii. iFit Live would then simulate the terrain using the treadmill's incline features. You can even have Jillian Michael train you and motivate your daily workouts with this amazing feature.

Slightly above average motor at 3.25 HP for 20" x 60" belt

Since we're only expecting a 3Hp motor to power a 20" x 60" belt, it's good that the Power1080 gives you a 3.25HP motor.  This belt and motor combination, although common for the price, gives you a spacious running surface and a stronger motor.

30 programs

With the number of programs the Power 1080 has to offer, you have more options compared to the average 10 to programs other threadmills can give you. This is also good if ever you won't continue your subscription after the first year that comes free with your purchase of this treadmill.

Good parts warranty of 5 years, borderline labor of 2 yrs

While most treadmills in this prcie range can offer you a parts warranty of just 2 to 4 years, you get 5 years with the Power 1080. A good indication of quality is the warranty that comes with the product. You also get a lifetime warranty on frame and motor plus 2 years in labor. 

MP3, fans, folding feature, and quick keys

These add-ons make the Power 1080 a 'complete' treadmill packed with features designed for the user's conveniece and musical enjoyment.

Roller size, unit weight, belt plies unknown

Of course we know that this treadmill has rollers, but the product description failed to mention anything about it. Same thing applies to unit weight and belt plies. We've reviewed other brands putting emphasis on big rollers and multi-ply belts so we're hoping Proform discloses information about these components.
