Strong 3Hp motor for 20" x 56" belt |
Although many treadmills offer a 3HP in this price range, one good thing about the Performance 900's motor is that it's more than sufficient to power its 20" x 56" belt. You would normally see a 2.5HP or a 2.75HP with this belt size. |

Good parts warrranty |
For treadmills selling at $1000 and below, you wouldn't normally see a parts warranty of 3 years. The average parts warranty in this price range is just 1 to 2 years. |

As with all Proform products (and Nordictrack products as well), we don't have access to information with regards to roller sizes, unit weight, and belt plies. Not to say that these components are built of poor quality but you have reasons to doubt if you don't have access to these information. |
