30 degree powered incline |
Inclines add difficulty in your workouts and oftentimes give better result. You’ll have a more challenging workout with the Elite 9.1's powered incline that goes up to 30 degrees. |
20 programs |
The Elite 9.1 has 20 programs to provide you with a variety of workouts to choose from. This is far more superior as compared to just 7 to 11 built-in workouts offered by other ellipticals. |
Has fans, oversized pedals, and side handrails |
This elliptical has several features for a more comfortable workout. It has a built-in cooling fan when you want to cool down, oversized pedals so you can position you feet in a way that’s convenient to you, and has handrails you can hold on to when you want to concentrate on lower body workouts. |
MP3 player support |
One factor that affects your motivation is boredom. You won't get bored when using the Elite 9.1 since it comes with a built-in sound system and a port to connect your iPod or Mp3 players. This way, you can listen to your favorite workout music and move along the beat. |
Personalization feature / iFit Live compatible |
You can monitor your progress using the built-in "Track Your Fitness History" feature and challenge yourself even better with the "Virtual Competitor". These 2 programs are useful for your personal improvement. Should you decide to have more features, the Elite 9.1 comes compatible with the iFit Live. The module costs around $150 or so, but includes the 1-year subscription for you to fully enjoy the benefits of this innovative feature. |

Unknown unit weight |
We expect this elliptical to be heavy so it can accommodate heavy users weighing as much as 325lbs Unfortunately, we can't really tell if it's heavy enough because we don't have access to this information as Nordictrack failed to provide details on their website. |
No brakes warranty mentioned |
The Elite 9.1’s website has not given any specific information regarding brakes warranty. It’s safe to say that this elliptical’s parts warranty is in effect as brakes are also considered parts. But since the Elite 9.1’s resistance system is not Eddy Current, a 1-year brakes/parts warranty may be too short. |
Max stride length no mentioned |
Surprisingly, Nordictrack didn't provide the actual stride lengths of the Elite 9.1. Although they claim this elliptical has adjustable stride lengths, we can't be sure if these lengths are acceptable or there's something the manufacturer doesn't want us to know. |
