20" - 22" adjustable stride length

Tall users would be comfortable with long stride lengths. The same goes with those users who aren't so tall that they prefer shorter stride length. This is where the Nordictrack E9.0's advantage over other brands comes in. It allows you to select a stride length between 20" to 22" so you’ll have a stride length that's just right for you. Adjustable stride also allows you to focus on different leg muscles giving you a more firm and toner lower body.

24" digital resistance levels

In ellipticals, 24 resistance levels is a rare offering. Many, if not most ellipticals offer 16 to 20 levels of resistance so you get an additional 4 levels with the E9.0. The added resistance levels may be crucial

One additional feature you'll find with the E9.0 is a rare decline feature that goes down up to 10°. When used in combination with the 20° incline and 24 resistance levels, you'll have plenty of variation to choose from. No brakes warranty

Among the E9.0's weaknesses is that it doesn't have a separate warranty on its braking system. Even though this model features magnetic brakes, other manufacturers still provide at least 10 years to lifetime warranty on this component. This forced us to give the E9.0 low marks for lacking this brakes warranty.

Unknown unit weight

We're not surprised and expected that the E9.0's unit weight is not disclosed. This is one problem with Nordictrack ellipticals and treadmills making us unable to verify this model's 350-lb maximum user weight capacity claim. The unit weight determines how stable the machine is, but with the E9.0 as well as other Nordictrack ellipticals not disclosing this information, it's very hard to tell if it's sturdy enough to give you a good overall workout experience.
