Above average motor and belt combination |
For treadmills priced at $1000 or below, it's very seldom you see a 3.0HP motor combined with a 20" x 60" treadbelt. This is definitely a strength for the C900. |
Good value for money relative to the C1250 |
Considering this is the C1250's little brother, the C900 comes with many good features with a remarkable price of just $999 compared to the C1250's $2999 price tag. |
Strong parts warranty |
The 3-year parts warranty that comes with the C900 is above average for treadmills selling at the $700-$1000 price range. This comes on top of a lifetime fame and motor warranty and 1 year guarantee on labor. |
iFit Live compatible |
As the iFit Live technology is considered the most innovative feature to hit the treadmill industry, this is among the top selling points of Icon brands like Nordictrack. The iFit Live module requires a separate purchase though. |
Nice overall console components |
You have a good console with the C900 because it features a 7" backlit display ready for your iFit Live, built-in sound system for your MP3 players, plus quick speed and incline keys together with a built-in cooling fan. |
12MPH max speed and 15% max incline |
Except for incline trainers, 15% is the max incline for regular treadmills 12MPH is the fastest a treadmill can go. |

Unknown machine weight and belt plies |
In the grading system we developed, we give low marks for unstated or unknown data for certain standard features. Not to say that these are inferior in quality but not knowing details about these components, you have reasons to be cautious especially if you're weighing close to the 350lb weight limit. |
iFit Live module sold separately |
May be a lower con, but you should know that the iFit module would cost another $250 together with the iFit subscription. This of course is optional as you can make use of the 20 built-in workout programs. |
