3-position adjustable stride

The Audiostrider 990 Pro lets you adjust its maximum stride length between 18" and 20". This is good when you want to train different muscle groups or simply if you have multiple users in your home with different stature. Taller users would of course prefer a 20" stride length while those who aren't so tall would be comfortable with 18".

Comes with a built-in sound system for your musical enjoyment

As its name suggests, the Audiostrider 990 Pro is designed to give you musical entertainment via its built-in sound system. It also has a port so you can connect your iPod or MP3 players and listen to your favorite music collection. This feature would not only help you stay longer but also give you a more entertaining workout.

30% powered incline

To make your workouts more challenging, this elliptical comes with an incline feature that goes up to 30% its normal level. When you have harder workouts, you burn more calories and gain better results faster.

25 programs

Sub-$1500 ellipticals usually come with 15 built-in programs or less. With the Audiostrider 990 Pro, you get more with 25 workout programs giving you better options to choose from.

In-handle controls

This elliptical's handlebars come with built-in controls to adjust resistance and incline levels. Since this is not commonly seen in many ellipticals, it’s nice to have this feature but not absolutely necessary since the console controls is very near these handlebars.

SpaceSaver design

The Audiostrider 990 Pro has a folding feature that can save you up to 3 feet of space when not in use. This would be beneficial if you don't have a big house or spacious room. We consider this a lower pro since there are issues with this folding feature compromising the elliptical's durability.

Unit weight not provided

We recommend ellipticals that are heavy since it will bear the user’s full body weight. Unfortunately, we don’t know the Audiostrider 990 Pro’s unit weight so we can’t further check if its 350-lb maximum user weight capacity is accurate or exaggerated. If you weight close to 350lbs, you have reasons to be cautious not knowing how heavy this elliptical is.

No mention of brakes warranty

Since no specific brakes warranty is stated, the parts warranty applies here. But since the parts warranty is just 1 year, it's way too inferior as compared to the 10 years offered by other elliptical machines.

No reverse stride

The reverse stride feature is something we look for in ellipticals that cost more than $1000. Since the Audiostrider 990 Pro lacks this feature, we think it's one of its more obvious weaknesses.
