About The Company: Life Fitness was acquired back in 1997 by Brunswick Corporation (a recreational boat maker company) for a little north of $300 million. Perhaps better known in the commercial market, Life Fitness has been making and manufacturing fitness equipment for over 30 years now. The company has recently ventured into the residential market with hopes of growing its bottom line but with year over year net sales topping half a billion dollars already, we’re not sure how much more it can grow. With such a strong company backing Life Fitness, it's hard to imagine the brand disappearing anytime in the near future.
