Your Ironman Inspire Treadmill Buying Guide
Summary of What The Experts Say
At the original retail price of $1600, experts feel that there are much better choices out there on the market. At a price of $1300, this was one expert's pick from the Ironman brand. The Ironman Inspire treadmill was rated identically to the Ironman Triad treadmill in all areas by one expert. (Looking at the specs, it would reveal little differences between the two models.)

Summary of What The Users Say
(Note: User feedback was based on a refurbished unit bought at Amazon.)

Users commented how heavy, sturdy and smooth the treadmill was. Some have had the machine for a few months and the machine showed no signs of problems. Perhaps attributable to the fact that the treadmill was bought in refurbished condition, there were a few problems including blown fuses, worn internal parts, and breaking down after a month of use.

One recurring comment from multiples users was how smooth the treadmill felt while using it.

What You Should Do
If you're considering getting this treadmill in refurbished condition, we would recommend against it in most cases. Why is this? Although you can get a great deal by buying refurbished, it's only the case when the treadmill itself was originally of a commercial nature. Even residential treadmills in new condition are prone to problems in the lower end of the budget spectrum, so when you decide to get a refurbished lower end treadmill, you're potentially setting yourself up for trouble. But what if you can get it new condition? To answer this question, we should look at a very similar treadmill called the Ironman Triad treadmill. From specs alone, all the major things you should consider when buying a treadmill (motor, length, speed, incline, warranty) reveals the two as identical. Furthermore, the two treadmills received identical scores from Treadmill Doctor suggesting the Inpsire and Triad treadmills are more similar than different.

Unlike the other Ironman treadmills that we've come across, we haven't read any motor and squeaking issues with the Ironman Inspire treadmill, at least not when it's bought new. This would suggest that it is the best choice out of the entire Ironman brand when it comes to reliability and quality although it may only be by a small margin. We're still however, a little weary about Keys Fitness tech support which we've discussed in our Ironman treadmill reviews.

Verdict: We feel this is your best bet if you're looking for the most reliable Ironman treadmill out there today. Although this treadmill comes with all the features on paper that a runner requires such as a 3.0 HP motor and a 20X60 belt, we wouldn't recommend it for anything other than jogging and walking. The reason for this is because of it's too similar of a machine to the Ironman Triad which we have doubts in regards to its durability. Thus, athletes that run on a regular basis should look elsewhere. Even though the motor comes with a long warranty, other parts are only warranted for 2 years which is just average and the company's tech support also leaves something to be desired as we've mentioned in our other reviews. Taking all these points into considerations, we feel it's a slightly better choice than the Triad and likely, the best choice overall from a quality and reliability’s standpoint within the Ironman brand as long as you purchase it new.

After reading opinions from experts and users, we have objectively analyzed the Ironman Inspire Treadmill and assigned it a meta score as follows:

If the total price is $800, you are getting a Super Bargain (5.0/5.0)
If the total price is $900, you are getting a Great Bargain (4.5/5.0)
If the total price is $1000, you are getting a Good Bargain (4.0/5.0)
If the total price is $1100, you are getting a Small Bargain (3.5/5.0)
If the total price is $1200, it is No Bargain (3.0/5.0)
If the total price is $1300, it is Somewhat Overpriced (2.5/5.0)
If the total price is $1400, it is Greatly Overpriced (2.0/5.0)
If the total price is $1500, it is Severely Overpriced (1.5/5.0)

The current lowest price is $1299.99 which is Somewhat Overpriced.
