Your Health Trainer HT95T Treadmill Buying Guide
Summary of What The Experts Say

Experts are doubtful of the health benefits that an orthopedic belt can provide and the one that comes with the Health Trainer HT95T is no exception. The fact that this treadmill comes equipped with one means the motor will have to work extra hard to keep it moving. Thus, experts are concerned about how this thicker belt would impact the longevity of the machine.

Experts say the Health Trainer HT95T treadmill is the top performing machine out of the entire Health Trainer lineup. When experts reviewed this treadmill, they used a MSRP of $1799 which is outdated since the machine can now be found for $1299.95. Please continue reading to determine how this price drop would impact your buying decision.

What You Should Do

Like the HT75T, the HT95T would also support some running. Though both share the same sized belt, the HT95T comes with a more powerful motor to support the heavier and thicker orthopedic belt. The HT95T also comes with one extra year in parts warranty for a total of 2 years. This makes the HT95T the best runner’s choice within the Health Trainer lineup if you consider solely from a quality’s perspective. [Click To See Rest of Review]

But here at treadmills411.com, we never base our buying decision on quality alone. We also base our decision on price. At the original retail price of $1799, experts suggested you seek out competing brands which offers way more value. But since the Health Trainer 95T is selling for $1299.95 right now, it has dropped itself into a whole another price range which makes this treadmill a very good choice.

Treadmill Doctor’s 2006 scores for the HT95T are equal or better than the Sole F63. The areas in which it is better include the belt length, the motor strength and reliability. We’re not sure if the Treadmill Doctor realized this but the Sole F63 has a longer parts warranty at 3 years than the Health Trainer 95T at 2 years yet the warranty rating is the same. Nonetheless, it would seem that the 95T is obviously the better treadmill of the 2 and the fact that it has a long belt with a more powerful motor would suggest it being suitable for running-something we couldn’t recommend the F63 for. With more quality comes at a higher price. At $1300, it is still a bit high for us to consider it as being a best buy but we think it deserves an “Excellent Buy” rating.

*We should note that the Health Trainer HT95T treadmill has only been reviewed by one expert, the Treadmill Doctor. As they are the authority in the treadmill industry when it comes to review, we think this is sufficient to base our meta score on.
