What You Should Do
If you were originally thinking about getting a Health Trainer HT65T treadmill, you're probably better off getting a Health Trainer Classic instead. With the HT 65T currently priced at $1199 and the Classic at $749, we just don’t see anything that justifies the $400+ price difference between the two. (If you look solely at the numerical ratings by TreadmillDoctor's 2006-2007 reviews, they are identical.)

When we reviewed the Healthtrainer Classic treadmill, we concluded that it was an excellent bargain for those that are mainly going to walk or jog. When we look at the Health Trainer 65T, the spec sheets look identical to the Health Trainer Classic. The numerical ratings from Treadmill Doctor also indicate that they’re essentially equal in all areas. So why spend almost half a grand more for the HT65T when the Health Trainer Classic is available? Perhaps we should ask Keys Fitness for the answer to that.
If you want to get the best treadmill that $1000 can buy, you should take a look at the top right corner of our website where we currently list the best buy models in the $1000 area.
Verdict: Save yourself money and get the Health Trainer Classic treadmill which is identical in feature but lower in price. If you’ve read our review on the Classic model, we determined it’s an excellent bargain for walkers and joggers. Since the two treadmills are the same, it follows that the HT65T is also good for walking and jogging purposes (but not at a price above $1000.)
