What You Should Do
Normally, in situations like these where there are a very limited number of reviews and the parent company behind it is ICON (which is infamous for its quality problems), you should wait until there is a more conclusive consensus as to the quality and build of the treadmill. But if you are willing to base your purchasing decision on a single expert's opinion, you might discover that the current lowest price at $799 is an excellent bargain.

If you look closely at Treadmill Doctor’s ratings, they awarded the best buy rating to the Epic 425 MX which scores identically to the Epic 600 MX in all areas except value (i.e price). When the reviews were written, the Epic 600 MX rating was based on a MSRP of $1299. It can now actually be found for $799 which is exactly the price they used to award the Epic 425 MX a best buy. In other words, because they reviewed the treadmill at the MSRP instead of the lowest price that we’ve found for you, this treadmill is receiving a lot less recognition than it deserves.
*In normal cases, we do not offer buying recommendations with so little information from experts and users. However, as this is a particularly interesting case, we’ll make an exception and offer the following verdict.
Verdict: For buyers that wanted to buy the Epic 425 MX at its original $800 price but couldn’t due to the price increase, the Epic 600MX is a strong alternative. If you’ve read our Epic 800MX meta review, you would know that we believe it’s even a better choice than the Epic 600MX. Remember, Epic is an ICON brand and there are apparent risks associated with buying anything made by ICON. But at this price point, the risk is as low as you can hope for.
