Experts noted the EVO 3i treadmill as the top of the line option from EVO selling for $3699. But in this price range, experts are a little hesitant to recommend this when there are much better options from competing brands such as Landice, Precor or Bodyguard. Like all the other models in the EVO lineup, experts are impressed with the motion control feature that allows a user to adjust the treadmill's speed simply by placing their hands over the motion sensor that are on top of the hand rails. (Our own investigation reveals that this seems to be an error on the experts' part as the EVO 3i does not offer the motion control feature.) Like the EVO1 and EVO2, experts are again critical of how the machine seems to be overpriced.

What You Should Do
The EVO 3i like the EVO 2 and EVO 1 suffer the same problem - it's overpriced. These treadmills by EVO are by no means low quality and the lifetime warranty does absolutely kick a lot of butt. But for the price, there are better deals to be had. For the EVO 3i, this seems to be especially the case.At the current price of $3699, you are stepping into the commercial price range. Although the EVO 3i can be put into a commercial setting as the official website states, there are much more established brands out there at this price such as Landice which has been at it the treadmill business for a few decades. I just can’t think of anything that makes the EVO 3i worth buying at this point.
In contrast, there are many reasons why I wouldn’t buy. For one, how could the most expensive model in the EVO brand not have their famous motion control option or even a wireless heart rate control? Also, at this price the treadmill doesn't even fold although you could argue non folding treadmills are sturdier. When you compare the upper ends models, the EVO 3i, 2 and 1 to the middle end EVO FX series, the FX series just gets you way more bang for the buck.
Verdict: If you're seriously considering the EVO 3i, you should take a look at the EVO 2 with better specs and a lower price. But if you’re considering the EVO 2, we recommend you take a look at the EVO 1 as it’s slightly superior in the cost department. But if you’re thinking about the EVO 1 at all, we think you should really take a look at the FX40HR and the EVO FX60HRO which gets you most of what the EVO 1 offers at three quarters the price. If you’ve got upwards of $3000 to spend, spend it on another brand such as Landice, Precor or Bodyguard.
