Your Body-Solid Endurance 5K Treadmill Buying Guide
Summary of What The Experts Say

Experts are impressed that even at a MSRP of $999, the treadmill still offers lifetime parts warranty (labor warranty is 1 year). Although the treadmill is essentially built with average components, at an original price tag of $999, this is to be expected. With average parts but an exceptional warranty, the Endurance 5K is a decent but not awesome value for the buyer.

Summary of What The Users Say

Only 2 users have reviewed the Endurance 5K treadmill with 1 of the 2 questionable in authenticity. Both users seem to be quite happy with its functions, low noise and excellent customer support/lifetime warranty. Both users have stated the treadmills were still functioning after 2 and 5 years of use in each of their respective situations.

What You Should Do

Like its more expensive Endurance 10K brother, the Endurance 5K treadmill is one of the older and likely discontinued models by Body-Solid. Although the 5K is discontinued, you can still find it being sold at one of our featured sellers with the lifetime parts warranty still in effect. [Click To See Rest of Review]

The belt on the Endurance 5K is really short at 50 inches so you really shouldn't consider this treadmill if you intend to do any running at all. With this short of a belt, we would not recommend the Endurance 5K would for tall joggers as well. For the regular walker however, the Endurance 5K is a fantastic choice.

Why is it a fantastic choice? Well, where else are you going to get a treadmill for under $1000 AND get a lifetime parts warranty? The answer to this question is that except for the Endurance 5K and the Endurance T3i, there’s no other model that offers this as far as I’m aware.

If you really intend to mainly walk, the Endurance 5K is unlikely to break down until you put a fair amount of miles on it. What this means is if it does break down, you only have to pay for the labor as the parts are covered under the warranty for life. This could translate into huge potential savings if you see yourself using the treadmill far into the future. For the walker who likes the idea of a lifetime parts warranty, the sub $1000 Endurance 5K treadmill along with the newer Endurance T3 are both great choices.

Verdict: If you want the protection and peace of mind that comes with a lifetime parts warranty, the Endurance 5K is recommended. This treadmill’s belt length is extremely short at 50” so you would not consider this model if you’re a taller jogger or if you intend to do any running at all. The Endurance T3 is a possible alternative.
